Aimee Chang M.D. graduated with Honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and minors in Piano and Natural Science. She obtained her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with a Distinction in Research and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Shiley Eye Institute at University of California, San Diego. She completed her fellowship in glaucoma within the Harvard Department of Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
Dr. Chang specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She is a native of Southern California and is proficient in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese. Her research focuses on improving the detection and monitoring of glaucoma with diagnostic testing.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chang’s interests include longboarding by the beach, yoga, surfing, and paddleboarding.
Dr. Aimee Chang practices in the Santa Cruz, Freedom, and Hollister offices.
