Dr. Lee received his doctorate of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. Before that, he received his bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is board certified by the National Board of Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.
Dr. Lee specializes in specialty contact lens fittings such as rigid, sclera and hybrid contact lenses. He is fluent in Mandarin.
He has been a consultant performed clinical research for contact lens, biomedical, and technology companies for contact lenses and other eye care projects.
He has volunteered in optometric missions throughout California and Oaxaca, Mexico. In his spare time, he tries to keep in shape in order to keep up with his younger sons.
